Art Nouveau in architecture and interiors of Riga
Riga can
deservedly be proud of the beautiful architecture of Art Nouveau. No other
city can boast such a variety of exquisite examples from this amazing style.
Riga has been crowned one of the best cities in Europe to visit for its diverse
range of Art Nouveau. In the same time art Nouveau buildings are magnificent not
only outside, but also inside. So, I propose not only get to know art Nouveau
architecture, but also interiors of this style.
The
excursion consists of 2 parts: at first you will become acquainted with the
most magnificent buildings of the Riga Art Nouveau, and then we will visit the
museum of Art Nouveau on Albert Street 12, where is exposed the authentic
interior of 1903. It is located in the apartment where the outstanding Latvian
architect Konstantīns Pēkšēns lived.
We start
the tour on the corner of K. Valdemara and Elizabethes Street, then we go along
Elizabethe Street to Antonijas Street, then we continue our way on Antonias
Street, from which we turn to Albert Street, at the end of which there is a
museum of Art Nouveau of Riga, which we will visit.

more person-60 euros

certificate to guide tours in the museum).
